It is the central agency in Mauritius responsible for receiving, requesting, analyzing and disseminating to the investigatory, supervisory authorities, Registrars and overseas FIU disclosures of information regarding suspected proceeds of crime and alleged money laundering offences as well as the financing of any activities or transactions related to terrorism to relevant authorities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To help real estate agents in meeting their obligations under the FIAMLA Act, United Nations (Financial Prohibitions, Travel Ban and Arms Embargo) and Sanctions Act\r\n2019 (UN Sanctions Act), the FIU have set up some guidelines for real estate agencies.
